Regardless of the authenticity of Rabid's claim here, and it's a pathetically short con if it is one, Noel doesn't expect to see that cute guy again.
Except, you know, on the street a few years later, and he's trying to get train fare to visit his little sister.
Or, there's a coffee date in her future.

Rabid: I go up as often as I can, while she's still around. Rabid: I got one of those rail passes, it saves a fortune. I keep it in my wallet, and wouldn't you know, down at the station... in a crowd... Rabid: Listen, you have a good schedule here. I can count on you being back here next week.
