This one took an odd turn. But I really like having the simultaneous freedom and restriction of a fixed first panel.

Rabid: IT'S -- IT'S THEM! Police: PUT DOWN THE PHOTOGRAPH AND THE FRAME IT IS IN AND PUT YOUR HANDS UP AND COME OUTSIDE AND DON'T MAKE ANY SUDDEN MOVES AND DON'T TRY ANY FUNNY STUFF. Rabid: THINK, Rabid, THINK! There HAS to be a way OUT of this!! Rabid: If ONLY I had listened to her WARNING!! Rabish: You know maybe instead of breaking in and tidying up you should just TELL Dr Quickly you lost his keys and that's why you didn't tidy up like you promised. Dr Quickly: That's not a WARNING. Rabid: Well, okay, but it was still a dumb thing to do. Rabid: You're right, I'll just tell him.
