Sad but true
If only I had a backlog... no... a frontlog? A cache of comics ready to go? I forget what it's called. But here is a beautiful drawing anyway. Enjoy it like we enjoyed the amazing soup I made.
It reminded me of what I used to get at Lucky Dragon, a big heaping bowl of their excellent hot and sour soup, but with fresh bok choy and thick noodles mixed in. A serious danged meal.

Lisa's Monster: Dear readers: Since Nicholas gave Studio assistant Lisa his horrible cold, he is in the kitchen making soup while she lies on the couch watching an entire season of "So You Think You Can Dance." Since studio assistant Lisa requires an endless supply of especially delicious soup, this has kept Nicholas from his comic today. Studio assistant Lisa takes full responsibility for this "hot mess."
